Alex is the Managing Partner of Miraloma Capital, a Houston-based advisory and investment firm that provides strategic, financial, and operational consulting services to growth-stage companies, with a focus on artificial intelligence and energy technology. Over the past decade, Alex has advised and invested in numerous high-growth companies, backing innovators reshaping the technology and energy sectors.

Previously, Alex spent six years at Citadel Global Equities, where he was responsible for energy investments within one of the world’s leading hedge funds. He began his career in private equity and investment banking at Lime Rock Partners and Simmons & Company International (now Piper Sandler), focusing on energy investments and M&A.

In addition to his role at Miraloma, Alex serves on the boards of Vertice Oil Tools and Commando Pressure Control and advises a number of other portfolio companies. He holds both a Bachelor of Business Administration and a Master in Professional Accounting from the University of Texas at Austin.
